The wine

Leos crafts refined rosé in the south of France, and Cuvée Augusta is a characterful blend led by Grenache with Vermentino and Bourboulenc.

Lifted aromas of white flowers, fresh raspberry and wild strawberry. The palate is elegant, with the creamy note of Bourboulenc and Grenache's crunchy red fruit, closing refreshing with crisp acidity and a subtle minerality.

Lovely as an aperitif, or with seafood, salads and light dishes. Serve well chilled.

The producer

Domaine de Leos sits near Isle sur la Sorgue in the Vaucluse, at the crossroads of the Luberon, Mont Ventoux and the Alpilles. The Leos wines are a collaboration between the domaine's owner, French singer Patrick Bruel, and Nicolas Jaboulet of the Northern Rhône.

Bruel and Jaboulet became firm friends through a shared passion for the great white wines of Hermitage, which inspired them to craft a rosé that expresses the unique character of Domaine de Leos.

Cuvée Augusta is the result, an elegant, characterful pink led by Grenache with Vermentino and Bourboulenc, combining creamy texture with crunchy red fruit and refreshing minerality.

Refined, characterful and beautifully balanced, Leos brings real ambition to southern French rosé. It is as at home on the table as on the terrace. A pink of genuine class.
