Inspiration sits a step above the Mediterranee bottlings, in the Cotes de Provence proper. Château de Berne has been growing vines on this ground since Roman times, and now farms 150 hectares of its 510 under High Environmental Value Level 3 certification.

Château de Berne has vine-growing traces going back to Roman times. The estate now runs to almost 510 hectares of unspoilt countryside, of which 150 are planted. The vineyards sit in the Haut-Pays, the Provence of the Interior, on chalky limestone hills and valleys. That inland position gives cooler nights than the coast, which is what keeps the roses fresh.

The estate holds High Environmental Value Level 3 certification and is committed to protecting both the landscape and the people who work it. It also owns Ultimate Provence nearby.
