Domaine Chevrot

Domaine Chevrot is a fine family estate in Cheilly-lès-Maranges, at the southern tip of the Côte de Beaune. Farmed organically and biodynamically by the Chevrot brothers, it has become the leading name of the Maranges appellation. Its wines are a benchmark for the region. The domaine works Chardonnay and Pinot Noir across Maranges and neighbouring Santenay, on the limestone and marl slopes of the southern Côte. Organic, low-intervention farming keeps the fruit pure and expressive. Each parcel is vinified separately. In the cellar the approach is gentle and precise, with whole-bunch ferments and restrained oak that preserve freshness and terroir. The whites are taut and mineral, the reds fragrant and supple. Purity guides the range. From village Maranges to premier cru Santenay and Maranges, Chevrot offers the southern Côte de Beaune at its best.
