The wine
A remarkably concentrated and complex Albariño, with apple and melon notes layered with delicate white floral nuance. Beautifully textured, with a delicious saline character and a long, delightful finish. The single-vineyard bottling, and proof that Albariño can be a serious white.
O Rosal is one of the five sub-zones of Rías Baixas, on terraced south-facing slopes above the Minho river, which gives slightly more warmth and shelter than the exposed coast. The same grape is called Alvarinho a few hundred metres away on the Portuguese bank. Lindeiros means boundary-dwellers.

O Rosal is one of the five sub-zones of Rias Baixas and lies on terraced south-facing slopes above the river, which gives it slightly more warmth and shelter than the exposed coastal areas. The Minho divides Spain from Portugal here, and the same grape is called Alvarinho a few hundred metres away on the far bank.
Galicia receives over 1,500 millimetres of rain a year, so vines are trained high on granite posts to lift fruit above the damp and allow air through the canopy. Lindeiros means neighbours or boundary-dwellers, which suits a vineyard on a national border.
