J. de Villebois Quincy 2024
£19.45
The wine
An intense, mineral-driven wine with opulent blackcurrant, lemon and hawthorn. On the palate the ripe citrus flavours are supported by crisp acidity. Quincy is one of the Loire's smallest Sauvignon appellations, and well worth seeking out.

Passionate about French culture and the Loire, they settled in Touraine in the 1990s.
The range is a tour of the Loire's Sauvignon country: Touraine, Menetou-Salon, Quincy, Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre, including the single-soil Silex and Marnes Kimmeridgiennes bottlings that show precisely what terroir does to one grape.
