Campuget 1753 Syrah Vermentino Rosé 2025
£13.45
The wine
A classic rose petal colour, this elegant, dry rosé shows aromatic notes of grapefruit and delicate citrus hints, through to a refreshing palate of red berry fruits with a lifted finish. An unusual blend for a rose, with Vermentino bringing a saline lift to the Syrah.

Campuget
View all Campuget winesCampuget was established in 1942 near Nimes, though the chateau itself dates to 1753 and the first vines were planted at the same time. That date gives the 1753 range its name.
The estate is run by Franck-Lin Dalle, the third generation of his family here, working with a wide spread of traditional Rhône varieties. Campuget gained Haute Valeur Environnementale certification in 2019.Costieres de Nimes sits at the southern end of the Rhône, close enough to the Camargue that the sea air reaches the vines. It has long been one of the better-value corners of the south.
