Bodegas Gallegas Sentidiño Rías Baixas Albariño 2025

The wine
Sentidiño, a Galician word for the good sense not to take the wild Atlantic for granted, is drawn from young Albariño vines across the three subzones of Rías Baixas. Each plot is fermented cool with cultured yeasts in stainless steel, preserving the variety's crisp, vivid aromatics.
Youthful and fragrant, it offers apple, jasmine and a green, grassy lift, then a zesty palate of grapefruit and white peach that closes clean and refreshing. A natural partner for oysters, shellfish and grilled white fish, or simply poured well-chilled as an aperitif.

View all Bodegas Gallegas winesBodegas Gallegas sits in the Salnés Valley of Rías Baixas, just five kilometres from the Atlantic, and is run by brother and sister Manuel and Myriam Vázquez. Their winemaker, Olga Verde Vieitez, is a former sommelier who refined her craft in Madrid, Chile and New Zealand, working alongside a network of local growers across the region's subzones.
Rías Baixas is among the rainiest corners of Spain, a maritime climate that suits the late-ripening, thick-skinned Albariño perfectly. Fruit is drawn from Val do Salnés, Condado do Tea and Ribeira do Ulla, each lending its own accent: the coastal Salnés gives the most aromatic wines, the warmer Condado fuller body, and the cooler Ribeira do Ulla greater structure and acidity.
Every plot is farmed sustainably and vinified separately in stainless steel, then blended for purity and consistency. The result is a pair of beautifully fresh Albariños that speak clearly of the Galician coast.
