Sanama Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2026

The wine
Intense guava, fig and pineapple on the nose. Full bodied but fresh, with a clean finish.
Sauvignon Blanc in Chile depends on cool sites, and the Humboldt current running cold water up the coast is what makes them possible: it drags morning fog inland and slows ripening enough to hold the aromatics. Without that, the variety loses its cut long before the fruit is ready. Sanama is made in the Cachapoal valley in Chile, on the generous alluvial soils of the valley floor.
