The wine

Glittering green glints and a delicate effervescence. Zesty lemon, limestone and fresh brioche on the nose, with raisins and marzipan on the palate.

Blanc de Blancs is Chardonnay alone, drawn here from the Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, Aube and Vallée de la Marne. Chardonnay gives the leanest and longest-lived Champagne, and at Extra Brut dosage the chalk character comes through undisguised. First fermentation in stainless steel, full malolactic, then long ageing on lees. Supplied in a gift box.
