The Forrest vineyard sits in central Wilyabrup, the sub-district generally reckoned the heart of Margaret River and the source of most of its finest wines. Margaret River is a narrow strip of Western Australia between two capes, surrounded on three sides by ocean, which moderates everything. It produces a fraction of Australia wine and a disproportionate share of its best Chardonnay and Cabernet.
