The wine

An aromatic bouquet of fresh red berries with delicate hints of white flowers. Clean on the palate.

Provence rosé is made by pressing the fruit immediately with the briefest skin contact, so only the palest colour is drawn. The style is dry and delicate, built on Grenache and Cinsault, and Provence produces more rosé than any other region on earth. Altitude is what keeps this fresh: at 420 metres the nights are cold enough to hold acidity through a Provencal summer. Maison Saint Aix work a 75-hectare vineyard near the Sainte-Victoire mountain, at 420 metres and among the highest sites in the Coteaux d Aix-en-Provence.

The producer

Maison Saint Aix, home of the acclaimed AIX rosé, is a substantial Provençal estate set high on a plateau in the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence. It has earned an international following for stylish, dependable rosé that captures the spirit of the region.

The vineyards sit at altitude, where cooling breezes and long, sunny days give ripe fruit balanced by freshness. Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault form the heart of the blends, farmed and vinified with a clear focus on elegance and drinkability.

The signature AIX Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence Rosé is pale, crisp and refined, joined by an equally poised white. Both are dry, mineral and effortlessly stylish, made for the table and for warm-weather enjoyment.

Elegant, consistent and quintessentially Provençal, Maison Saint Aix offers rosé and white of real charm. Its wines bring a touch of the south of France to any occasion.
