Dreissigacker Organic Rheinhessen Riesling Trocken 2025
£15.95
The wine
Pale yellow with youthful hues. Ripe citrus, green apple and depth on the nose.
Trocken means dry, under 9g of residual sugar per litre. The Rheinhessen is Germany largest wine region and was for decades its least regarded, the home of Liebfraumilch. A generation of young growers has turned it into one of the most exciting parts of the country, and Dreissigacker is among the names at the front of that revival. Jochen Dreissigacker farms at Bechtheim in the Rheinhessen, certified organic since the 2010 vintage and working much of the estate biodynamically.

The domaine works with meticulous care and minimal intervention, letting the limestone and clay soils speak clearly. Long lees ageing and restraint give wines of real depth and tension. The style is bone-dry, mineral, and refined.
The range spans crisp everyday Riesling, characterful single-village bottlings, and even elegant Spätburgunder. Each shows the purity and drive that define the estate.
To pour a Dreissigacker wine is to taste the new Germany. Dry, mineral, and beautifully made, these are Rieslings for those who love precision and energy.
