The wine
An aromatic Saint-Joseph Blanc, characterised by beautiful freshness, vibrancy and an elegant minerality with a delicate saltiness on the finish. A small-production white from a domaine of just ten hectares. Graeme and Julie made their first vintages in a neighbour's garage and now work from a cellar beneath La Mouline in Côte-Rôtie.

Domaine Graeme and Julie Bott
View all Domaine Graeme and Julie Bott winesGraeme and Julie Bott have become one of the northern Rhône's most talked-about young domaines. Graeme is from New Zealand, Julie a native of the northern Rhône; they met working at Domaine Ogier, one of the leading names in Côte-Rôtie.
The domaine came about by happy accident. On buying their first house they discovered that its garden sat on the hillside of Verin, within prime Condrieu appellation, and the estate grew from there. They now farm ten hectares across Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph and the little-known Seyssuel.
They remain boutique producers in the truest sense. The first vintages were made in a neighbour's garage; they now have their own cellar, tucked just beneath La Mouline in Côte-Rôtie. The wines are handcrafted, nuanced and increasingly hard to find.
