Champagne Moët et Chandon Brut Imperial

The wine
A creamy and fruity nose with a lovely deep toastiness, touches of caramel and ripe citrus and stone fruits. Integrated stony minerality with a gentle mousse and fine acidity, in a restrained style. Very likely the most-poured Champagne on earth, and there are reasons for that.

View all Champagne Moët et Chandon winesFounded in 1743 by Claude Moët, the house became a favourite of Napoleon, who was a personal friend of Jean-Remy Moët and stopped at Epernay to collect a supply on his way to campaign. The Imperial name is no accident. Moët is the largest Champagne house in the world, with cellars stretching some twenty-eight kilometres beneath Epernay, and the Brut Imperial is very likely the most-poured Champagne on earth.
