The wine

Pale golden yellow with persistent effervescence, creamy with good depth of flavour. Ripe, rich fruits dominate, complemented by fresh apple, apricots and a tangy lift. Organic and biodynamic, from the Premier Cru village of Vrigny, with no dosage whatsoever.

Champagne Lelarge-Pugeot is a boutique organic grower based in Vrigny, a Premier Cru village in the north-east of the Montagne de Reims. The Lelarge family has been making wine since 1789 and Champagne since 1930.Today the estate is headed by seventh-generation Dominique Lelarge with his wife Dominique Pugeot and their daughter Clemence, after whom one of the cuvees is named. Everything is farmed organically and biodynamically, with minimal or zero dosage: grower Champagne of real conviction.
