Champagne Bollinger Special Cuvée
£60.95
The wine
Matured on lees for three years, a full-flavoured classic made mainly from Grand and Premier Cru vineyards with the addition of five to ten percent of the house's unique reserve wines, aged in magnum under cork. Pinot-dominated and partly barrel-fermented: unmistakably Bollinger.

Champagne Bollinger
View all Champagne Bollinger winesBollinger has been family-owned since 1829 and is one of the most distinctive houses in Champagne: Pinot Noir-dominated, fermented largely in old oak barrels, and aged far longer on lees than the appellation requires.
The result is a rich, structured, faintly nutty style that stands apart from the Chardonnay-led fashion. Special Cuvée is the house calling card, and the Royal Warrant has been held since 1884. James Bond's preference is well documented, and entirely justified.
