Cape Point Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc 2025

The wine
A deliciously refreshing Sauvignon Blanc offering notes of freshly picked apricot, ripe pear, lime and orange blossom with a hint of fynbos and dried herbs. Long and fruity.
Cape Point Vineyards sits on the peninsula south of Cape Town with the Atlantic on one side and False Bay on the other, which makes it among the most maritime vineyard sites in the world. Constant cool sea air slows ripening, and Sauvignon Blanc responds with intensity and a saline, flinty cut.

Cape Point Vineyards
View all Cape Point Vineyards winesCape Point Vineyards lies at Noordhoek on the Cape Peninsula, a narrow finger of land south of Cape Town with the Atlantic on one side and False Bay on the other.
It is among the most maritime vineyard sites in the world. The sea is never more than a few kilometres away, cool air moves across the vines almost constantly, and the growing season is long and slow. That suits Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon better than almost anything else, and the estate has built its reputation entirely on them, which is unusual: most Cape producers spread across many varieties.
The vineyards sit within the Cape Floral Kingdom, the smallest and richest of the world's six floral kingdoms, and the fynbos surrounding them is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. Isliedh, the flagship, is named after the owner's daughter and blends Sauvignon Blanc with Semillon in the manner of white Bordeaux.
