The wine
Vermentino is the great white of Sardinia, and Cantina Atzei gives it a bright, sun-filled expression from vineyards swept by Mediterranean breezes.
Pale and fragrant, it offers citrus, white peach and a saline, sea-spray freshness, finishing crisp, dry and gently bitter in the moreish Sardinian way. Clean, zesty and thoroughly thirst-quenching.
Lovely as an aperitif, and a natural with seafood, shellfish and grilled fish. Serve well chilled.
