Jean-Claude Boisset Fixin Blanc 2024
£46.95
The wine
Fixin is the Côte de Nuits village just south of Marsannay, and like its neighbour it is known almost entirely for red. White Fixin is a genuine rarity, planted on the higher, stonier ground where Pinot Noir struggles to ripen fully.
Jean-Claude Boisset is the Nuits-Saint-Georges house now led by winemaker Grégory Patriat, formerly head viticulturist and assistant winemaker at Domaine Leroy. His approach is vineyard-led, and the wines are made in a gravity-fed winery in Les Ursulines, a former convent in Nuits-Saint-Georges.
