Jean-Claude Boisset Bourgogne Chardonnay Les Ursulines 2025
£19.95
The wine
Pale lemon, with citrus and stone fruit on the nose and perfectly integrated toasty notes from the oak. A mouthwatering acidity carries the well-defined flavours onto a lingering finish.
Les Ursulines is blended from parcels across the whole of Burgundy, from the Yonne in the north down to the Mâconnais, deliberately drawing on different soils, aspects and microclimates. That breadth is what lets a regional Bourgogne stay consistent from year to year. Hand picked into 20-kilo perforated crates, whole-bunch pressed slowly over two hours, then chilled and settled before fermentation.
