Tinpot Hut

Tinpot Hut is the personal project of winemaker Fiona Turner, one of Marlborough's most experienced hands. The name recalls the old musterers' huts of New Zealand's high country, a nod to independence and craft.

Turner's focus is on expressive, precisely made wines from carefully chosen Marlborough sites, with an emphasis on aromatic lift and balance rather than sheer power.

The Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is vivid and zesty, the Pinot Gris textured and pear-scented, and the Rieslings, both dry Wairau Valley and the honeyed Late Harvest, show the region's gift for aromatic whites.
