Raventós i Blanc

Raventos i Blanc is a pioneering Catalan sparkling wine estate with an extraordinary heritage, the family having made wine here since the sixteenth century and produced Spain first ever bottle of Cava. In a bold move, they left the Cava appellation to champion their own terroir-focused identity. Farming biodynamically on their historic estate in the Conca del Riu Anoia, they work the native trio of Xarel-lo, Macabeo and Parellada, plus rare local varieties, on distinctive limestone soils. Every wine is a single-estate, traditional-method sparkling of real integrity. The range runs from the fresh Blanc de Blancs and pretty De Nit rose to the more complex single-estate De la Finca and the fascinating native-grape Textures de Pedra, each pure, dry and expressive.
