Domaine Moreux-Corty

The origins of this domaine reach back to 1677, when Edme Corty laid the foundations of a small estate in Pouilly. André Moreux bought his first vines in 1702, across the river in Sancerre. Two families, two banks of the Loire, and three hundred years and fourteen generations of accumulated knowledge. The wines are Pouilly-Fumé of real character, from the fossil-rich Kimmeridgian marl and the stony caillottes that define the appellation.
