Château du Juge

Château du Juge sits in Cadillac, on the right bank of the Garonne opposite Sauternes and Barsac, where the same autumn mists coax noble rot from the Semillon. Cadillac is Sauternes's value-conscious cousin: sweet, botrytised and often almost identical in style, at a fraction of the price. This is a wonderful all-round dessert wine, and comes in the handy 37.5cl half.
