Zorzal Parcelario Chardonnay 2024
£23.45
The wine
From a single parcel at the top of Gualtallary, this is Zorzal's mountain-fresh Chardonnay at its most concentrated. Herbal aromas carry a touch of graphite and enticing mineral overtones. The palate is agile, with delicious nerve and tension, layered with striking salinity through to an everlasting finish. Chablis lovers, this way: langoustines and turbot await.

Zorzal
View all Zorzal winesZorzal is a boutique winery at the very highest point of the Uco Valley, in the stony reaches of Gualtallary, where it has been dedicated to quality wine since 2008. The site is now hailed as one of the most exclusive and admired places to grow vines in all Argentina.
It was founded by the Michelini brothers, the restless, passionate duo widely regarded as trendsetters of the modern Argentine wine scene. Their approach is respectful and non-invasive, putting austerity before exuberance and fruit before wood, so that the extreme mountain terroir speaks with complete clarity.
The wines carry Gualtallary's signature: chalky minerality, saline freshness and taut, nervous energy. Terroir Unico offers the purest introduction, Gran Terroir digs deeper, Parcelario isolates single parcels, and the rare Porfiado, a multi-vintage solera-style Pinot Noir, shows just how far the brothers will push. Rapidly recognised internationally, Zorzal makes mountain wines of rare precision and character.
