Yering Station Village Chardonnay 2025
£15.45
The wine
The Village tier, and the Yarra idiom in miniature. Citrus, white peach and a touch of flint, with delicate oak in a supporting role to a citrus-fruit palate full of freshness. Poised, moreish and dangerously easy to pour again.

Yering Station
View all Yering Station winesYering Station is where Victorian wine began. The Scottish-born Ryrie brothers planted the first vines here in 1838, making it the first vineyard in the state; in 1850 the property passed to Swiss-French immigrant Paul de Castella, who expanded the plantings with vines sourced from around the world, including cuttings from Château Lafite.
Today Yering Station is a jewel in the Yarra Valley crown, producing world-class cool-climate wines from revered vineyards famed for expressive varietal flavour and integrity. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir lead, in the Yarra's classic idiom of perfume, purity and silk, with the Reserve wines ranking among Australia's finest.
The range steps from the charming Little Yering wines through the Village tier and estate bottlings to the Reserves, including a Shiraz Viognier of real renown. History has rarely tasted this fresh.
