Viña Echeverría Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc 2019 (37.5cl)
£10.75
The wine
A concentrated golden dessert wine with a complex nose of mature peaches, apricots and honey. Quince jam and creamy honeyed flavours are enlivened by good acidity; rich, intense and full-bodied through a long, elegant finish. Sticky-toffee territory for a tenner. 37.5cl bottle.

View all Viña Echeverría winesViña Echeverría is a family-run estate in the Valle de Curico, owned and managed by the Echeverría family since 1930, with agricultural roots reaching back to the 1700s. Nearly a century of winemaking experience meets a modern, state-of-the-art winery, and the results carry the family's uncompromising search for excellence at prices that remain almost quaint.
The range runs from the vivid Reserva and Gran Reserva wines through characterful single bottlings like the coastal GCM blend and El Compadre Pinot Noir from the far south, to the Founders Selection Cabernet at the summit.
Then there is No es Pituko, roughly "nothing posh": a radical natural range vinified without additions at any stage, cloudy, alive and joyously drinkable. The estate holds Sustainable Winery certification from Wines of Chile.
