The wine
From the single-site Terroir Hunter range that made Rafael Urrejola's name. Citrus, lime and mandarin are complemented by fennel and gooseberry-leaf herbals over minerals; vibrant and juicy with refreshing, zesty acidity. Leyda Sauvignon with the volume turned up and the focus sharpened.

Head winemaker Rafael Urrejola has spent years researching the diversity of Chile's vineyard sites; the result is the emblematic Terroir Hunter range, single-site wines of startling precision. The range here runs the full register: traditional-method fizz from Leyda, the youthful U and Rebel Sip wines, gentle Light 8 bottlings at just eight percent, the Sibaris Gran Reservas, the Terroir Hunter collection, the rare Extinto old-vine Carménère, and Altazor, the grand Maipo flagship.
