Torre di Terzolan Valpolicella 2024
£21.75
The wine
Intense ruby red, presenting red fruits, cherries and blackberries with depth behind.
Valpolicella is Corvina-led with Rondinella and Molinara, and the region distinctive wines come from its drying lofts: bunches are laid out for months to lose water before pressing. Superiore requires a year of ageing and higher alcohol than basic Valpolicella. Torre di Terzolan takes its name from the Renaissance house at the centre of the estate, in the Valpolicella hills above Verona.

Torre di Terzolan
View all Torre di Terzolan winesTorre di Terzolan makes its home in Valpolicella, the storied red-wine country north of Verona. This is a range that runs the full arc of the region, from easy-drinking Valpolicella to the grandeur of Amarone.
The wines are built on the traditional Veneto grapes of Corvina, Rondinella and their kin, with the appassimento method of drying grapes lending the top wines their richness and depth.
The Valpolicella is bright and cherry-fresh, the Superiore fuller and more structured, while the Amarone della Valpolicella is the opulent flagship, powerful and velvety with notes of dried fruit and spice.
Generous, warming and steeped in tradition, these are the classic reds of Verona. Explore the full range of Valpolicella.
