The Valpantena is one of the named sub-zones of Valpolicella, a single broad valley running north from Verona, and it is generally reckoned to give fresher, more perfumed wines than the classico hills to the west. The valley name comes from Val Pantena, and the co-operative here draws on growers across it. Torre del Falasco is the label of Cantina Valpantena, the co-operative of the Valpantena valley just north of Verona.

In the Valpantena valley north of Verona, one of Valpolicella's finest side-valleys, Cantina Valpantena crafts its Torre del Falasco range. This is classic Veneto red country, the home of Corvina and the great wines of Valpolicella, from fresh everyday reds to the mighty Amarone.
