The wine
A hint of yellow stone fruits and herbs with a nutty character. The palate is remarkable.
Morillon is the Styrian name for Chardonnay, Weissburgunder is Pinot Blanc and Grauburgunder is Pinot Gris, so this blends the three under names used nowhere else. Ried Pfarrweingarten is a named single vineyard. The Sattler family have made wine at Gamlitz in the Südsteiermark for generations, on slopes so steep that most of the work is done by hand.
