Brilliant ruby red, with a fragrant bouquet of cherry and strawberry. The palate follows with layered red fruit and subtle spice.
Ruberpan is Valpolicella Superiore, which requires a year of ageing and higher minimum alcohol than basic Valpolicella. The blend is Corvina-led, the grape that gives the region its sour-cherry signature. Pieropan farm 60 hectares on the stony hills of Soave Classico and 20 in Valpolicella, and in the early 1930s were the first to bottle Soave under their own name.
