The wine
Intense tawny with brick-like tones. An elegant, complex bouquet of ripe fruit, marmalade and nuts alongside spice notes.
Ten years in cask is the point at which a tawny stops tasting of fresh fruit and begins tasting of dried fruit and nuts, while keeping enough red-fruit character to show its origin. The age statement is an average across the casks blended rather than a minimum. Fermented in stainless steel with vigorous punch-downs. Supplied in a gift box.
