The wine
Intense ruby red with violet hues. Ripe cherries and violets come first, followed by vanilla and dulce de leche from the French oak.
Malbec from the Montes estates at Apalta and Marchigüe, two of the finest sites in Colchagua. The vineyards are dry farmed or minimally irrigated on granite slopes, which forces roots deep and keeps yields low. Cold soaked for five days before temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, then aged in French barrels.
