The wine
Deep ruby red, with a perfumed bouquet of crunchy red fruits, blackcurrant and raspberry. Rich and full-bodied yet poised.
En Orveaux is a premier cru at the top of the Vosne-Romanée slope, bordering Echézeaux, and it is cooler and later-ripening than the crus lower down. Vosne is the most revered commune on the Côte de Nuits. Destemmed and hand sorted at the winery so only the best fruit was used, then crushed and cold macerated.
