The wine
Elegant and beautifully balanced, with intense and expressive aromas of lemon blossom, quince, citrus notes and a touch of lime. Light and precise, with lovely texture and bright freshness underpinned by delicious minerality through to a mouthwatering finish.
Dialogos means dialogue, and each wine puts two grapes in conversation. Assyrtiko brings the searing acidity and mineral spine, Kydonitsa the quince perfume and softer texture. The estate is organic, sitting on the site of ancient Elis, the city-state that administered the Olympic Games at nearby Olympia.

Ktima Dio Ipsi

The name means two heights estate, after the topography. The property runs to 14.5 hectares of organically farmed vineyard alongside a two-hectare olive grove, facing west towards the island of Zakynthos with the Ionian Sea beyond, close enough for the maritime influence to matter.
The Dialogos pair are the wines to start with, one white and one red, and the name means dialogue: in each case a Greek variety in conversation with an international one, or with another native. Assyrtiko with Kydonitsa for the white, Agiorgitiko with Syrah for the red.
