The wine
Perfumed aromas of violet and sweet cedar envelop notes of ripe berries and cherry fruit. The luscious palate offers soft tannins and an abundance of wild berried fruit, olives and dark chocolate through to a lasting finish.
The red half of the Dialogos pair, Agiorgitiko with Syrah. Agiorgitiko is Greece's most planted red and gives soft tannin and generous fruit; Syrah adds structure and pepper. The vineyards face west towards Zakynthos with the Ionian Sea beyond, close enough for the maritime influence to matter.

Ktima Dio Ipsi
View all Ktima Dio Ipsi winesKtima Dio Ipsi lies in the unspoiled valley of Ilia in the north-western Peloponnese, on the site of ancient Elis, the city-state that administered the Olympic Games at nearby Olympia.
The name means two heights estate, after the topography. The property runs to 14.5 hectares of organically farmed vineyard alongside a two-hectare olive grove, facing west towards the island of Zakynthos with the Ionian Sea beyond, close enough for the maritime influence to matter.
The Dialogos pair are the wines to start with, one white and one red, and the name means dialogue: in each case a Greek variety in conversation with an international one, or with another native. Assyrtiko with Kydonitsa for the white, Agiorgitiko with Syrah for the red.
