The Lower Wairau and Dillons Point sub-region sits at the eastern end of the Wairau valley near the sea, on heavier soils than the stony plains inland, which gives a fuller and more textured Sauvignon Blanc. Marlborough huge swing between hot days and cold nights is what supplies both the pungency and the acidity, and Holdaway farm 182 hectares within it.
