The wine
Bricco Ciliegie is Giovanni Almondo's benchmark Roero Arneis, from sandy hillside vineyards in Piedmont. Cool fermentation keeps its native fruit fresh and pure.
White peach, pear, almond and white flowers lift from the glass. The palate is crisp and textured, with orchard fruit, fine acidity and a gently mineral, saline finish.
A lovely aperitif and a match for seafood, antipasti and light pasta. Serve well chilled.
