The wine

Pale yellow with green hues, this lovely and fresh Piquepoul Terret blend offers plentiful aromas of grapefruit and citrus fruit, with a lively, vibrant palate and crisp finish. Terret is an old Languedoc white grape, once planted right along this coast and now increasingly scarce. Blended with Piquepoul it gives a wine built for the oysters farmed in the lagoon next door.

Flores, the label of Les Vignerons de Florensac, draws on a long stretch of local know-how on the Cotes de Thau, the strip of land between the Etang de Thau and the Mediterranean.

The cooperative farms 500 hectares overlooking the sea, sustainably cultivated and HVE certified, with renewable energy in the cellar. The Arete de Thau bottling blends Piquepoul with Terret, an old Languedoc white once planted right along this coast and now increasingly scarce.
