In Marsannay, at the northern gateway to the Côte de Nuits, Domaine Jean Fournier works some of Burgundy most historic parcels. Now led by Laurent Fournier, the family has farmed here since the seventeenth century. Few domaines can claim such deep roots in the appellation.

Fournier is a champion of two things often overlooked: Marsannay and the Aligoté grape. His organic and biodynamic vineyards are treated with real care, and his cellar work is precise and low in intervention. The aim is transparency, letting each terroir sing without distortion.

The wines reward attention. His Aligotés redefine what the grape can achieve, while his Marsannay reds trace the subtle differences between neighbouring climats with quiet skill. Freshness and detail run through the whole range.
