The wine
A silky, smooth Sancerre Rouge of lovely garnet colour, with ripe red berried fruits and cherry. The delicate palate delivers rich black fruits supported by ripe, refined tannins. A decade of age has done it nothing but favours.

View all Domaine Gérard Millet winesBased at Bue in the heart of Sancerre, the Millet family has been making wine for more than five generations. The domaine is run today by Gérard and Isabelle with their son Steve, across 24 hectares, of which 19 lie within the Sancerre appellation.
The range covers the ground properly: neighbouring Menetou-Salon, classic Sancerre blanc, the single-parcel Le Désert du Petit Bannon, and a serious Sancerre rouge from Pinot Noir.
