The wine

A concentrated and dense wine with concentrated black berried fruit, kirsch and floral notes which are underpinned by mineral complexity. Smooth and spicy on the palate, with great structure and a lovely purity of fruit. Pure Malbec, certified organic since 2014 and biodynamic since 2015.

Emmanuel Rybinski is among the more inventive of the younger growers in Cahors. His 16 hectares sit on an iron-rich plateau at the southern edge of the appellation, planted predominantly to Malbec with a tenth given over to Merlot.

Respect for the land has been the priority since the family estate began in 1987. It was certified organic in 2014 and biodynamic viticulture followed in 2015.The wines are named with a French K, pronounced ka, and come in packaging as considered as the contents.
