Chevanceau Vermentino Vin de France 2025
£9.25
The wine
A crisp and zesty Southern French Vermentino which is easy-drinking in style and packed with peachy flavours, floral hints and citrus zest. Vermentino is more usually found in Sardinia and Corsica. In the Languedoc it keeps the same saline, herbal edge.

View all Chevanceau winesChevanceau is a pair of southern French varietal wines, a Vermentino and a Marselan, chosen to show two grapes that suit the Languedoc particularly well without being widely planted there.
Vermentino is better known from Sardinia and Corsica, where it makes saline, herb-scented whites. Marselan is a modern crossing of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache, made in 1961 and named after Marseillan on the coast, which combines the structure of one parent with the warmth of the other.
