Château du Rouët Villa Estérelle Côtes de Provence Rosé 2025
£15.45
The wine
The Villa Estérelle cuvée is a pale, dry Côtes de Provence rosé blending Grenache, Cinsault and a little of the local Tibouren. Gently pressed and cool-fermented to preserve its delicate colour and aromatics.
Pale salmon-pink in the glass, it offers redcurrant, white peach and a hint of citrus. The palate is crisp and dry, with fine texture and a fresh, savoury finish.
The essence of a Provençal lunch: serve well chilled with grilled fish, salads or simply as an aperitif in the sun.

Château du Rouët
View all Château du Rouët winesChâteau du Rouët is one of the long-established estates of the Côtes de Provence, set in the wooded hills of the Argens valley near Le Muy. Held by the same family for generations, it sits within a landscape of pine, oak and the red rock of the Estérel massif. Provence rosé is its calling.
The vineyards enjoy the warm days and cooling maritime breezes that make this stretch of the south ideal for pale, dry rosé. Grenache, Cinsault and the local Tibouren are grown on schist and clay soils. Each brings something distinct: fruit, delicacy and a savoury, southern lift.
Fruit is picked early and pressed gently to protect the pale colour and freshness that define the style. Cool fermentation preserves aromatics, and the wines are bottled young to catch their vivid, spring-water clarity. This is rosé made with precision.
The result is Provence in a glass: pale, dry and quietly sophisticated. These are wines for sunlit tables and long lunches, as elegant as an aperitif as they are beside Mediterranean food.
