View all Château de Berne winesChâteau de Berne has vine-growing traces going back to Roman times. The estate now runs to almost 510 hectares of unspoilt countryside, of which 150 are planted. The vineyards sit in the Haut-Pays, the Provence of the Interior, on chalky limestone hills and valleys. That inland position gives cooler nights than the coast, which is what keeps the roses fresh.
The estate holds High Environmental Value Level 3 certification and is committed to protecting both the landscape and the people who work it. It also owns Ultimate Provence nearby.
