Powerful and complex, revealing yellow fruit, finely roasted almonds and citrus. Soft and juicy, with a chalky freshness that makes the palate energetic and intense. Created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II, who insisted on clear glass and a flat bottom so nothing could be concealed within.

Louis Roederer, founded in 1776 and still family-owned, is among the most admired houses in Champagne, farming a remarkable proportion of its own vineyards and working biodynamically across much of the estate.

Cristal was created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II, who wanted a bottle of clear glass with a flat bottom so that no assassin could conceal anything within it. It remains one of the world's great wines. Collection replaced the old Brut Premier in 2021, built on a perpetual reserve.
