Campuget Un Petit Rouge Syrah Grenache 2025
£9.75
The wine
Fragrant aromas of violets and soft black fruit characters are echoed on the smooth palate and complemented by garrigue flavours of the South of France. A refreshing and easy to drink style. Costieres de Nimes sits at the southern tip of the Rhône, close enough to the Camargue that sea air reaches the vines. Campuget has farmed here since 1942, on ground first planted in 1753.

The estate is run by Franck-Lin Dalle, the third generation of his family here, working with a wide spread of traditional Rhône varieties. Campuget gained Haute Valeur Environnementale certification in 2019.Costieres de Nimes sits at the southern end of the Rhône, close enough to the Camargue that the sea air reaches the vines. It has long been one of the better-value corners of the south.
