£13.45
The wine
Characterised by freshness, finesse and delicacy, this Grenache offers lovely purity of fruit with cherry notes layered with subtle floral aromas and spicy notes. Soft, supple tannins lend structure to this elegant wine. Made with no added sulphur, which asks a great deal of both fruit and cellar. Best drunk young.

Campuget
View all Campuget winesCampuget was established in 1942 near Nimes, though the chateau itself dates to 1753 and the first vines were planted at the same time. That date gives the 1753 range its name.
The estate is run by Franck-Lin Dalle, the third generation of his family here, working with a wide spread of traditional Rhône varieties. Campuget gained Haute Valeur Environnementale certification in 2019.Costieres de Nimes sits at the southern end of the Rhône, close enough to the Camargue that the sea air reaches the vines. It has long been one of the better-value corners of the south.
