Molino Real

Molino Real is the celebrated Málaga project of Telmo Rodríguez, one of Spain's most visionary winemakers. High in the mountains above the Mediterranean, he revived a near-lost tradition of great sweet Muscat, restoring Málaga to the ranks of the world's fine wines. The old Moscatel vines cling to steep, slate slopes, farmed with painstaking care. Grapes are sun-dried to concentrate their sugars, then patiently vinified and aged, producing sweet wines of astonishing depth balanced by remarkable freshness. The range runs from the gently sweet, aromatic MR Muscat to the profound, honeyed flagship Molino Real, layered with dried apricot, candied orange and a saline mineral thread.
